Odyssey Consulting LLC, doing business as Life Equals Love (“Life Equals Love,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), wants our cancellation and refund policies to be clear and fair while recognizing the differences between scheduled services, digital curriculum, and recurring memberships.
This policy applies to purchases made directly from Life Equals Love.
1. Private Reflection Sessions
Private Reflection Sessions reserve a specific appointment time.
Cancellation 48 Hours or More Before Your Session
You may cancel your Private Reflection Session at least 48 hours before its scheduled start time for a full refund.
Cancellation Less Than 48 Hours Before Your Session
A Private Reflection Session canceled less than 48 hours before its scheduled start time is nonrefundable.
You may request to reschedule the session once, subject to availability.
Rescheduling
You may reschedule your Private Reflection Session one time without charge when the request is made at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time.
Additional rescheduling requests may be approved at our discretion.
Late Arrival
If you arrive late, we will make reasonable efforts to use the remaining scheduled time.
The session may still end at its originally scheduled time.
Late arrival does not qualify for a full or partial refund.
No-Shows
Failure to attend a scheduled Private Reflection Session without prior cancellation or rescheduling is considered a no-show.
No-shows are nonrefundable.
Completed Sessions
Once a Private Reflection Session has been provided, the purchase is nonrefundable except where otherwise required by law.
Personal-development outcomes vary, and refunds are not provided solely because a particular outcome or result was not achieved.
If Life Equals Love Cancels
If we must cancel your Private Reflection Session, we will offer you an opportunity to reschedule.
If we are unable to provide a reasonable alternative, or you prefer not to reschedule following our cancellation, you may receive a full refund of the amount paid for the canceled session.
2. Reflection Method Curriculum
The Reflection Method curriculum is a digital educational and personal-development product.
We provide a limited refund opportunity that allows you to begin the program and determine whether it is appropriate for you while protecting the value of the curriculum once the substantive program content has been accessed.
Refund Eligibility
You may request a refund of your Reflection Method curriculum purchase when both of the following conditions are satisfied:
The refund request is submitted within seven calendar days of the original purchase; and
You have not accessed or begun Stage 1, Lesson 2 or any later curriculum lesson.
Refund eligibility therefore ends when either:
Seven calendar days have passed from the original purchase date; or
You first access Stage 1, Lesson 2 or any later curriculum content,
whichever occurs first.
You may access Foundation content and Stage 1, Lesson 1 without ending your refund eligibility during the seven-day period.
Once you access Stage 1, Lesson 2 or later, the curriculum purchase becomes nonrefundable except where otherwise required by law or where Life Equals Love determines that an administrative or technical error warrants an exception.
Curriculum Progress Records
Our system may record curriculum access and progress, including the date and time a lesson is first accessed.
These records may be used to determine refund eligibility.
3. Requesting a Curriculum Refund
Eligible customers will be provided a simple method to request a curriculum refund through the functionality made available in their account or dashboard.
Submitting a refund request does not necessarily cause an immediate automated refund. We may review the request and relevant purchase and curriculum-access records before processing it.
If the system indicates that your purchase is no longer eligible and you believe that determination is incorrect because of a technical problem, billing error, or other unusual circumstance, contact us at:

4. Effect of a Curriculum Refund
If a curriculum refund is approved and processed:
Your Reflection Method curriculum access may be terminated.
Remaining Reflective Collective access provided as part of that curriculum purchase may be terminated.
Any future Reflective Collective recurring renewal associated with that purchase will be canceled.
Your underlying Life Equals Love account does not necessarily need to be deleted.
Emotion Decoder information is not automatically deleted solely because a curriculum refund occurs.
Requests concerning personal data may be made separately as described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Included Reflective Collective Membership
When included with the applicable offer, purchase of the Reflection Method curriculum includes three months of Reflective Collective membership.
The three-month included period begins on the date the Reflection Method curriculum is purchased.
It does not begin when you first access the curriculum, begin a lesson, complete a lesson, or first enter the Reflective Collective.
6. Automatic Reflective Collective Renewal
After the included three-month period, Reflective Collective membership automatically renews at $39 per month until canceled, provided you authorized the recurring membership when purchasing the curriculum.
The recurring price and material automatic-renewal terms will be disclosed before you authorize the recurring arrangement.
7. Canceling Reflective Collective Membership
You may cancel future Reflective Collective renewal at any time.
You may cancel:
Immediately after purchasing the curriculum
At any point during the three included months
After paid monthly membership has begun
Your right to cancel future Reflective Collective renewal is independent of how much of the Reflection Method curriculum you have accessed or completed.
Cancellation During the Included Three Months
If you cancel future renewal during the three-month included period:
You will not be charged the $39 monthly membership fee when the included period ends.
You retain Reflective Collective access through the remainder of the three months included with your curriculum purchase.
Your curriculum access is not canceled.
Cancellation does not constitute a request for a curriculum refund.
Cancellation After Paid Membership Begins
If you cancel after paid monthly membership has begun, cancellation prevents the next recurring charge.
You will ordinarily retain access through the end of the monthly period for which you have already paid.
There is no cancellation fee.
8. Reflective Collective Membership Refunds
Reflective Collective membership charges that have already been processed are generally nonrefundable.
This does not apply where:
We determine that a billing error occurred;
A charge was processed after a valid cancellation should have prevented it;
Applicable law requires a refund; or
We otherwise determine that a refund is appropriate.
Cancellation prevents future renewal charges. It does not ordinarily refund a membership period that has already begun.
9. Duplicate or Incorrect Charges
If you believe you were charged more than once, charged after a valid cancellation, or charged an incorrect amount, contact us promptly at:

Confirmed billing errors will be corrected.
10. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will generally be returned to the original payment method.
The amount of time required for an approved refund to appear in your account may depend on the payment processor, bank, or card issuer.
11. Consumer Rights
Nothing in this policy eliminates or limits a refund, cancellation, or other consumer right that cannot legally be waived.
