The Reflection Method™, Private Reflection Sessions, Emotion Decoder, Reflection Method curriculum, Reflective Collective, and related content, tools, exercises, videos, materials, and services are provided for educational, coaching, self-observation, and personal-development purposes.
1. Not Therapy or Healthcare
The Reflection Method is a personal-development and coaching methodology.
It is not psychotherapy, counseling, medical care, mental-health treatment, diagnosis, or another licensed healthcare service.
Nothing provided through Life Equals Love, The Reflection Method, a Private Reflection Session, the Emotion Decoder, the curriculum, the Reflective Collective, or related products or services should be interpreted as medical, psychological, psychiatric, or other healthcare advice.
Participation is not a substitute for working with an appropriately qualified professional when such care or assistance is appropriate.
If you are experiencing a medical or mental-health emergency, seek appropriate emergency or professional assistance.
2. Personal Development and Emotional Material
The Reflection Method may invite you to examine relationships, experiences, memories, recurring emotional responses, beliefs, and patterns you associate with your life experiences.
This process may sometimes bring up uncomfortable, difficult, or emotionally intense material.
You are responsible for deciding whether and how to participate in an exercise and whether additional professional support is appropriate for your circumstances.
You may stop or decline participation in an exercise.
3. No Guaranteed Results
Personal-development and coaching outcomes vary from person to person.
Odyssey Consulting LLC and Life Equals Love do not guarantee that participation in The Reflection Method or any related product or service will produce a particular personal, emotional, relationship, financial, professional, or other result.
Examples, demonstrations, testimonials, case studies, client experiences, and descriptions of possible outcomes represent individual experiences and do not guarantee that another participant will experience the same result.
4. The Emotion Decoder
The Emotion Decoder is a personal-development and self-observation tool.
Information, patterns, connections, visualizations, and other outputs generated through the Emotion Decoder are intended to help you organize and examine information you have entered.
They are not diagnoses, clinical assessments, medical conclusions, psychological evaluations, or objective determinations about you or another person.
The Emotion Decoder does not determine what another person thinks, feels, intends, believes, or why another person behaved in a particular way.
You remain responsible for how you interpret and use information produced through the Emotion Decoder.
Users should not enter another person’s full legal name. First names, initials, nicknames, relationship labels, or made-up names may be used instead.
5. Relationships and Other People
The Reflection Method is designed to help you examine your own experiences, emotional responses, and patterns.
It cannot establish another person’s intentions, motivations, mental state, diagnosis, or character.
Nothing provided through Life Equals Love should be used as a substitute for appropriate professional assistance regarding abuse, violence, safety concerns, legal disputes, medical issues, or mental-health concerns.
6. Personal Decisions
Information provided through Life Equals Love is not intended to make decisions for you.
You remain responsible for your relationships, choices, actions, financial decisions, healthcare decisions, professional decisions, and other personal decisions.
7. Educational Content
Information presented through our website, videos, curriculum, community, coaching, Private Reflection Sessions, social media, podcasts, emails, downloads, and other materials represents educational and personal-development content.
You are responsible for determining whether particular information, exercises, practices, or suggestions are appropriate for your circumstances.
8. Private Reflection Session Recordings
Recording a Private Reflection Session is optional.
A recording may be made with your permission so you can privately revisit your session.
Declining recording does not prevent you from participating in the Private Reflection Session.
Permission to create a private recording does not authorize Life Equals Love to publicly publish or use your session.
Public use requires separate permission.
